*As a journalist, it’s interesting to see independent films continue to seek talent in local communities. The specification that candidates should reside in Piedmont helps ensure regional investment and provides opportunities for local actors. The call for versatile voice actors is intriguing, suggesting that sound plays a significant role in “PODGOD”. The film’s themes of determination, inner turmoil, and social marginality also suggest a compelling story.*
